Sunday night blues?
That feeling around 6 or 7pm on a Sunday...
The unease. The tension. The quiet dread.

I used to brush it off as just part of work life.

But the Sunday night blues are often more than a mood.
Theyโre a message.
When that feeling felt strong (either in my own career or through my coaching work with others) itโs usually pointing to something real:
- A role that no longer fits
- A toxic dynamic with a boss or colleague
- Exhaustion creeping in from a lack of boundaries
- A misalignment between your values and your reality
Whatever the reason, itโs worth listening.
Because your body often knows before your brain catches up.
Iโve worked with clients whoโve used that signal as a turning point:
- To set better boundaries
- To have an honest conversation
- To find their next role
- To rebuild their relationship with work
Sometimes the answer is bold change. Sometimes itโs small, intentional shifts.
But it always starts with curiosity.
We explore questions like:
- What is this feeling really telling you?
- What parts of your work energise you โ and which drain you?
- What boundaries have blurred โ and which ones do you need to reset?
- If nothing changed in 6 months, how would you feel?
- Whatโs one small change that would make a big difference right now?
And then we get to work.
Finding clarity.
Reclaiming agency.
Taking action... at the right pace for you.
You donโt have to dread the week ahead.
And you donโt have to figure it out alone.
If you're feeling that in the pit of your stomach tonight, letโs talk.
